Jay Love began the craft of entertaining as a Male Illusionist in August of 2009. As Jay reflects on nearly a decade of being an entertainer, he recalls many memorable experiences. The first being that within moments of the first time he stepped onto the Forbidden stage, he knew that he had found his passion. After three years, Jay was crowned the first Mister Upper Cumberland Pride in 2012. A year later he captured the title of Mister Tennessee USofA MI and went on to compete at nationals for the title of Mister USofA MI.

“Falling short of a title isn’t something that any competitor hopes for, but placing 1st alternate or even just competing in such a high caliber competition was a success in my book.” Jay said. “The connections and friendships that I have made along the way are absolutely unmeasurable and I will forever be honored to have them and I am humbled by my experiences.” Jay expresses that the best advice he can offer to anyone competing is to leave it on the stage. No matter the placement, if you give 110% and you are building your craft, that is always a win.
